The Ellis Family:

Our thoughts and prayers are with you at your time of loss. Mrs. Ellis was a wonderful lady. Many, many times myself and some of the boys would come over to hang out with John and Tasha up in John's crib in the attic to a point where it must have been an inconvenience to your mother but she never complained. I can recall several times we would show up with empty stomachs and your mother was kind enough to cook us some great food and seconds if we asked. Her legacy lives on through her family for whom she has a lot to be proud of. We get back to Albany once or twice a year to visit and inevitably I'll pass by the Ellis house on Washington Avenue. Always fond memories fill my mind of times spent there for which I will always be grateful to your mother for.
