Theresa M. Ellis

Ellis, Theresa M. ALBANY Theresa M. Ellis passed away on Friday, July 25, 2008 at St. Peter's Hospital. Born in Albany, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Sophie Jensis Matelitz. She worked as a beautician at the Beauty Bazaar in Albany for many years. She was a communicant of Blessed Sacrament Church. Theresa was predeceased by her husband Dwight Ellis. She was the beloved mother of Mark and Patrice Ellis of Merrimack, N.H., Mary Ellis and her husband Ron Koll of Richland, Wash., Jeffrey and Renee Ellis of Niskayuna, and John and Suzanne Ellis of Niskayuna; cherished grandmother of Amy, Penny, Tracy, Payson, Avery, Kate and Tierney; sister of Ernest and Marion Matelitz of Guilderland. The family would like to extend gratitude to a special nephew, Dwight and his wife Barbara Warrington. Funeral services Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. from the McVeigh Funeral Home, 208 North Allen Street, Albany thence to Blessed Sacrament Church at 10:30 where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Relatives and friends are invited and may call Monday 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow the Mass at Our Lady of Angels Cemetery.
