Joan, Jeff, Lynn, Ashley, Erin, Matt, and Deanna,

When I remember Don, there are so many thoughts I have of him, I wanted to share a few with you. I see this HUGE motorcycle in the driveway or his Lincoln coming out of the garage going out to dinner or leaving for the Cape. I remember year after year hearing the doors slam at 4 or 5 in the morning on a day at the end of November, when you, Jeff, would take your mom and dad to the airport for their annual trip to Hawaii for 6 months. Don always enjoyed a full life, and he loved to do things in a big way. Big motorcycle, big car, big vacation. But most of all he had a big heart. For everyone he met. He was the kindest most gentle man I ever met. Yet he was strong, he was witty, and did the most unusual things that had us rolling on the floor laughing. We'll miss his wonderful sense of humor. Most of all I'll miss him out in the front yard planting his impatients, mowing his lawn on an angle, of course, and making sure that all the flowers around the mailbox are just perfect. It won't be the same. God bless you all for being such a great family.

Love,

Mary Jane Marra
