Theodore Bouthillier Obituary

Bouthillier, Theodore TROY Theodore A. Bouthillier, age 91, beloved husband of the late Kathryn T. Carey Bouthillier, died on Saturday, July 26, 2008 at Schuyler Ridge Nursing Facility in Clifton Park. Born in Thorndike, Mass., he was the son of the late Tellesphore and Albertine Roux Bouthillier. He was a graduate of Palmer High School in Palmer, Mass. and Siena College, class of 1949. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II from 1941 to 1946 and was commissioned a first lieutenant in 1943 having served in the South Central Pacific for 18 months. He was employed as a manager with the Intelligence Division for the Internal Revenue Service in several areas and Albany for 25 years, retiring in 1975. He was a resident of Troy, Castleton and Cape Cod spending many winters in Fla. He is survived by a brother, William Bouthillier of Palmer, Mass. and three nieces, Ellen (James) Barrett of Troy, Colleen (Eric) McLoughlin of Brunswick and Megan (Carl) DiMaria of Parker, Co. Mr. Bouthiller was predeceased by two brothers, Metterick and Armond Bouthillier and a niece, Kathleen (John) Harkin. The funeral will be from the Thomas S. Connolly Funeral Home, 294 Whiteview Rd., Wynantskill on Wednesday at 10 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church, Troy where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Burial will follow in the Gerald B. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville. There will be a calling hour at the funeral home on Wednesday, preceding the funeral service from 9 to 10 a.m.
