Please extend my condolences to the Fogarty family.
A native of Alplaus, NY, town of Glenville, & county of Schenectady, NY, Catharine probably traveled to high school on the electric trolley during her teen-age days. The Molony family was Alplaus residents for about 30 years in the good old days. Catharine, her sisters & brother were raised in Alplaus. Her mother & father started a candy store & gas station in the little village of Alplaus. Her father, as a member of the Alplaus Fire Department, was editor and committee member of a newsletter, which supplied information & addresses to the men, & women of the community serving the country during WWII.

I was particularly sorry to learn of your beloved mother's death so soon after speaking with you and her at Neil's wake in February. Both of them and all of you are in my prayers forever--as well as those of our surviving classmates, NYSCT. 1939, I'm sure. Ken Doran, '39 Councilor.
