C. Robert Kensinger

Kensinger, C. Robert CLIFTON PARK C. Robert Kensinger, 90, of Spy Glass Hill in Clifton Park, died on Saturday, July 26, 2008 at Albany Memorial Hospital. Born on October 12, 1917 in Union-town, Pa. and raised in New Salem, Pa., he was the son of the late John and Bessie Beatrice Frost Kensinger. Robert was a graduate of New Salem High School in New Salem, Pa. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving his country during World War II. Robert was a route salesman for Bond, Spalding and Millbrook Bread companies in the Capital District for many years. He later worked as a housekeeper for the Desmond Americana in Colonie. Robert later worked for Macy's Department Store in Colonie as a housekeeper until retiring in 2000. He was the beloved husband of the late Barbara G. Rose and the beloved companion of the late Ellen Stempin. He was the loving father of Deborah L. Beattie of Malta; grandfather of Regina (John Clune) D'Agostino-Clune of Malta. Calling hours will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday at the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home. Memorial services will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday in the funeral home. Inurnment will be held on Thursday, July 31, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Memory's Garden Cemetery, Colonie with full military honors.
