As far back as I can recall... we had this running joke about Uncle Chuck being my "real" father (because I was rounder earlier than most Mero's of my generation)... and we would always banter on the topic...
One of his best comebacks to me was at a family gathering when I had started by saying..."so Pops... where is my back support ?" ... Without missing a beat ( and with that "gotcha grin" ) he replied...
"Wait here, I'll get you one of Miriam's Bras..."

Thanks for the memories Uncle Chuck... Rest in Peace

I had met Chuck through his daughter Mary, with whom I have been great friends with for fifteen years. It was an honor to witness the incredible love that "Pops" had for his family. I admire his devotion and will always remember how he loved to make people laugh.

To the Mero family: May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well-lived.

With condolences,

To Sharon and everyone; You have my deepest sympathy at this time. I remember the first time I met "Mr. Charlie" (he wouldn't let me call him Mr. Mero) & the first thing he did was tell me a joke. I laughed so much it was almost embarassing. I always loved hearing stories from you about Dad's latest.... especially his bowling adventures. He will be so missed by all who knew him. My prayers go to everyone & I know God will guide you along. Much love,
