Sarah Rosenberg Obituary

Rosenberg, Sarah ALBANY Sarah Resnick Rosenberg, age 91, of Hollywood Avenue in Albany, died Thursday morning, July 31, 2008 surrounded by loved ones. Sarah was devoted to her family, friends and community. Over the course of her life, she worked at Whitney's Department Store, Denby's and St. Peter's Hospital from which she retired. Sarah was born in Poland and resided in Montreal for several years and had been an Albany resident most of her life. She was a member of Congregation Beth Abraham Jacob and their sisterhood in Albany. She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Max Rosenberg; a daughter, Sharron Lebo of Canoga Park, Calif. and a son, Alan Rosenberg of Liverpool, N.Y.; grandmother of Megan, Johanna and Jacob. Services at the Levine Memorial Chapel, 649 Washington Avenue, Albany on Sunday, August 3, 2008 at 9:30 a.m. followed by interment in the Beth Abraham Jacob Cemetery, Western Avenue Guilderland, N.Y. Open house will be held at 23 Hollywood Avenue in Albany on Sunday, August 3, commencing at 12 noon. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
