Frank Malachowski Obituary

Malachowski, Frank W. COHOES Frank W. Malachowski, 77, of Cohoes, passed away on Thursday, July 31, 2008 at Albany Memorial Hospital. Born and educated in Schenectady, and the son of the late William and Ida Niedzwieczki Malachowski, Frank was the owner of Blains Bay Marina, retiring in 1986, and a member of the American Legion. Beloved husband of 55 years of Mary Colquhoun Malachowski of Cohoes; father of David Malachowski of Woodstock and John Malachowski of Latham; grandfather of Lindsay Malachowski of Clifton Park. brother of the late Helen Malachowski; also survived by several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at the Dufresne Funeral Home Inc., 216 Columbia Street, Cohoes on Monday 6:30 p.m. with Rev. Arthur J. Becker officiating. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. Memorial contributions can be made in Frank's memory to a charity of choice.
