Mossman, Lynn A. WEST STEPHENTOWN Lynn A. Mossman, 57, of Firetower Road, died on Friday, August 1, 2008 at the Community Hospice at Samaritan Hospital after a long illness. Born in Troy, Lynn was the daughter of the late Frank H. and Alma Robertson Adams Sr. Lynn was a lifelong resident of Stephentown and had, for a number of years, been self-employed in the refuse collection business. She enjoyed fishing, hunting, woodworking, the Stephentown Valley Rod & Gun Club and the Wednesday night socials with her siblings. Lynn was the mother of the late George Rafferty. Survivors include her children, Gregory (Catherine) Rafferty of West Stephentown, Dawn A. Watson of Glens Falls and Debbie Rafferty of Porters Corners, N.Y.; her brother, Frank "Butch" Adams of Stephentown; her sister, Janet Brown of Nassau; and 15 grandchildren. Funeral Monday, 7 p.m. at the West Stephentown Baptist Church, 1672 NY 43, Stephentown, N.Y. Relatives and friends are invited and may also call at the church on Monday, 4-7 p.m. prior to the service. Interment, Hillside Cemetery, West Stephentown.
