Barbara H. LeCuyer

LeCuyer, Barbara H. LATHAM Barbara H. Rentz LeCuyer, 87, died Wednesday, August 6, 2008 at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany. Born in Watervliet on March 28, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Mary Vasko Rentz. Barbara was a 1939 graduate of Watervliet High School and the LaMay School of Cosmeto-logy. She was a hairdresser for 10 years, worked at International Harvester for 13 years, was co-owner with her husband of Olympian Music and also worked at American Seal Paint Co. She was a member of the Watervliet Senior Citizens and the Watervliet Lodge of Elks #1500 Ladies Auxiliary. She was the beloved wife of the late Paul A. LeCuyer; loving mother of Rosemary (Robert) Porter of Latham and Paul D. (Donna) LeCuyer of Brunswick; grandmother of Chad (Christine) Fowler, Gregor (Joanne) Fowler, Christopher (Dawn) Fowler, David Porter, Monique (Todd) Grimm and Chandree (Nino) Cagliandro; great-grandmother of Noah, Rachel, Ethan, Isabel and Jeremiah Fowler, Chloe and Kylah Grim and Adam Cagli-andro; sister of the late Joseph, John and Stephen Rentz; aunt of John P. (Flo) Rentz of Burnt Hills, Dr. Audrey Rentz of Bowling Green, Ohio and Kathryn Doxey of Depew, N.Y. Also survived by several great-nieces and nephews. The funeral will be Saturday at 8:45 a.m. from the Parker Bros. Memorial, 2013 Broadway, Watervliet and at 9:30 a.m. at Our Lady of the Assumption Church in Latham. Interment, St. Patrick's Cemetery, Watervliet.
