To The Family: "Nana" was a great person who loved her babies, but did'nt take no stuff either. She was very supportive of all of us while growing up and no matter what, would always have a kind word to say. She treated you the same even if you weren't "so right". I'm going to truly miss "Nana" and the one thing she wants is for everyone to "get it together". May her life convict all of us to do better. She was a child of the Most High God and an apple in His eye. May her memories keep the family in perfect peace. Respectfully and fondly, Linda Moore and Family.

I knew your Mom from the Star of Bethlehem Church. She was a loving and caring woman for whom I had great respect. She always had a smile on her face when she saw me, and always made me feel good about myself. I know her presence here on earth will be missed by all.

Mrs.Parker was a very special person to me. She always found the right words to say about any situation to make you feel better. I always looked foward to seeing her. Hearing her laughter and bragging about all of her babies. She will be dearly missed.

To the Parker Family.
God's speed. I just can't think of all the ways Mrs. Parker was kind to me.
I just laughed and spoke with her about 2 weeks ago at Mt. Pleasant's Ushers Anniversary.
I told her, "Never Let Anyone Steal You Joy" Keep Smiling.
To you all, remember Mother and "Keep Smiling"

Thomasine,
I Thank God He gave me the grand opportunity to know Mother Parker and the rest of your family. She was truly a woman of Godly wisdom, comical laughter. and Godly insight. Mother Parker has gone now to take her rest and left us here to continue our journey in Christ holding strong to the faith that will give us comfort. I am here for you because she put us together to grow in faith. I'll always have those memories and you more so than the others because you were always there for her as she was for you. God continue to bless you my sister and stay strong. I'm here for you via telephone, cell phone and email.
Be blessed.
Your sister in Christ,
Pat

The news of Mrs. Parker's passing has saddens me deeply. I can't believe she is gone. The last time I visited Star of Bethlehem Church, she and I spoke to eachother about the goodness of Jesus and how good he has been to both of us. She was such a sweet person. Whenever I saw her she always greeted me with a smile. I will think of her and miss her every time I visit Rev. Bailey's Church.

To the members of her family. I offer you my deepest sympathy during this time. There are no words that I can say to heal your pain but my prayers go out to you all. You were blessed to have her in your lives. She did not hesitate to share the word of God with anyone she spoke to. ...I know she is up there with Him now. I can see her smiling. As hard as it is right now, may the memories of the happy times you shared see you through. May God Bless her soul forever.

To Ms.Agnus, Millie,Lloyd, Pauline, Thomasine & my Godsister Evelyn and family,
I have such fond memories of Ms. Parker. SO many times she had me laughing, just with her no nonsense way of life. If you wanted to know the truth about something you could ask Ms. Parker or my mother Janie Franklin! Thank you for sharing your mother and grandmother with me and my family.
I know you already know the power of prayer and the comfort that ONLY COMES from the Lord. Remember, there is only ONE WAY to see her again and that is to accept and live for the God of our salvation (the Lord Jesus Christ). Please know that I will keep you in my prayers, and believe that God WILL bring you through. Evelyn, I wish I could be there, but be assured that I will be there in spirit.
May the peace that passes all understanding be given to you all during this time of your bereavement.
LOVE YOU ALL
Rhonda Franklin-Ferguson, Minister Janie Franklin and FAMILY

Back in the day at 159 Church St was were we all met Ma Parker she was Ma Parker to me, to my kids and to my grandkids. She was never in too much of a hurry to ask how the family was doing and always ended our conversations with "I'll keep you in prayer." I learned a lot from Ma Parker as did all of those who lived in 159 Church St; weather you used the lesson to gain wisdom or to act a fool Ma Parker was always there to provide the direction. Her work on this earth has been well done, now she goes to rest in her heavenly home; she is at peace now. Stay focused on Christ family and He will guide you through this difficult time.
