Aileen, Greg,
I Just heard from Mrs. Douglas That Jim had passed away. Its been a long time since Ice hockey that we've seen each other and hopefully you remember me.
My deepest condolences to you and Greg, and family.I didn't know he was very ill, but I know how much it must hurt to loose the one you LOVE. He was a terrific guy, so just remember all the good times you had together,so that the pain in your heart will ease, and one day we will all be together again.
We moved to SC and every once in a while Mike calls me and tells me he runs in some of the hockey team parents and players, and we talk about the days of hockey. I do remember Jim tried never to miss any of Greg's games and practices, and always was one to help out whenever he could. Those are some of the good memories I have of "Big Jim"

My wife, Sandy, and I knew Jim throughout junior and senior high school. Soup Campbell was well liked and respected for both his wit and charm. It is sad to see our contemporary go so soon.

Aileen and Family: I am so saddened by the news of Jim's passing. I was shocked to hear that he was ill, then did not get the news of his passing until today. I will always remember those early Reds teams, playing with "Cousin Jim", and our trips to Boston. I just saw Jim when he attended my wife's funeral, and was surprised when I heard he was ill. May you take care in this difficult time, and my heart goes out to you.
