Joyce Lebel Obituary

Lebel, Joyce G. MIDDLEBURGH, N.Y. Joyce G. Lebel, 61 years, of Middleburgh, passed away on Wednesday, August 13, 2008 in the Columbia Memorial Hospital in Hudson, N.Y. She was born in Catskill, N.Y. on September 14, 1946, daughter of Helen (Buel) Germond and the late Ira Roger Germond. Joyce was a lifelong resident of Manorkill and Rensselaerville. She worked at Stiefel Labs, Inc., and she was postmaster of the Post Office in Earlton, N.Y., until illness forced her to take a smaller post in the Post Office in Coeymans Hollow, N.Y., Joyce enjoyed traveling, painting and knitting. Surviving are her husband, Louis M. Lebel of Middleburgh; her mother, Helen Germond of Athens, N.Y.; her aunt, Loretta Lounsbury of Oak Hill, N.Y.; her brother-in-law, Joseph Lebel of Cornwallville, N.Y.; and a niece, Diane Williams of Manorkill. Funeral service will be Friday, August 15, 2008 at 2 p.m. at the Cunningham Funeral Home, 4898 SR 81, Greenville, NY 12083. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday prior to the service from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Interment will be in the Manorkill Cemetery.
