Dorothy A. Bouleris

Bouleris, Dorothy A. NISKAYUNA Dorothy A. Bouleris, 80, of Clifton Park Road, died Friday evening, August 15, 2008 at her residence, surrounded by her loving family after a long illness. Born in Cohoes, she was the daughter of the late John and Anna Kostyk Kowansky. Dorothy lived in the area all her life. She graduated from St. Peter & St. Paul Grammar School in Cohoes and Cohoes High School in the class of 1947. She was a communicant of St. Helen's Church and enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also loved to travel, loved the ocean and especially loved to polka. Dorothy is survived by her loving husband Raymond J. Bouleris; her two daughters, Anne (Gary) Cartier of Rotterdam and Mary Beth (Bruce) Fenton of Niskayuna. She was the sister of Lillian Lacer of Waterford, Millie Potts of Latham and Martha Pucci of Cohoes. Dorothy was the grandmother of Matthew, Stephen and Rebecca and great-grandmother of MacKenzie, Kyle, Piper, Dakota and Kaden; she is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Dorothy's Liturgy of Christian Burial Tuesday, August 19 at St. Helen's Church on Union Street at 9:00 a.m. Her interment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Waterford.
