Long before I became reacquainted with Jim in Nott Terrace, we shared some time summer together as children at Rainbow Beach on Lake George in Bolton Landing. There was a slide in the water and a small, sandy beach, and we had a great time! Once, he got an awful sunburn and had to be out of the sun for days, but when he returned we spent time peeling his old skin off in great sheets. Really neat! (At the time!)
Jim was gracious, kind and a gentleman. I am greatly saddened by his passing. Please accept my most sincere condolences on your very great loss.
