I am so sorry I did not know about Harvey until now. I have only good memories of Harvey, especially, when I stayed with the family in Utica and even years before in East Schodack. I know he was very kind to my mom ( Aunt Beverly) before he moved to Florida, he was that kind of person all his life. I remember you, Ginny, when you and Harvey first met... how young you guys were.. then after so many years you two finally got together, which I think God planned from the get go!
I am sorry I could not be there for all of you. I will keep everyone in my prayers and hope that Harvey will be one of the many family in heaven to welcome me when it is my time.
Love and God Bless to you Ginny, Barb and Wayne

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief. I worked with Harvey out of SP East Greenbush and was part of his trooper family. He made new troopers feel welcome.

We share comfort in knowing your brother, “Harvey” is no longer suffering. May the blessings of love be upon you, May its peace abide with you, May its essence illuminate your heart, Now and forever more.
Our thoughts are with you and your family during this difficult time.
God looked around his Garden and found an empty place.
He then looked down upon his earth and saw your loving face.
He put his arms around you and lifted you to rest.
His Garden must be beautiful, he always takes the best.
He knew that you were suffering, he knew you were in pain.
And knew that you would never get well on earth again.
He saw your path was difficult, he closed you tired eyes,
He whispered to you "Peace be Thine" and gave you wings to fly.
When we saw you sleeping so calm and free of pain,
We would not wish you back to earth to suffer once again.
You've left us precious memories, your love will be our guide,
You live on through your children, you're always by our side.
It broke our hearts to lose you, but you did not go alone.
For part of us went with you on the day God called you home

I'm so sorry to hear of Harvey's passing. We've been trying to locate him for reunions and recently for our 50th from CHS in E. Greenbush. I had an email just this past Monday saying Harvey was gravely ill.
Please accept my heartfelt sympathy from the class of 1958

Ginny;
I was so sorry to hear about the passing of Harvey.
There are not words to comfort you at this time, only knowing that Harvey is no longer in any pain but in the hands of one mightier than us all.
You will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers.

Music, when soft voices die
Music, when soft voices die,
Vibrates in the memory—
Odours, when sweet violets sicken,
Live within the sense they quicken.
Rose leaves, when the rose is dead,
Are heaped for the belovèd's bed;
And so thy thoughts, when thou art gone,
Love itself shall slumber on.
