Rocco Agostino Obituary

Agostino, Rocco F. INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. Rocco F. Agostino, 70, of Indianapolis, passed away September 13, 2008. He was born May 9, 1938 to Frank and Vera Macri Agostino of Albany, N.Y. Rocco was a 1963 graduate of Indiana University, receiving his bachelor's degree in business administration. He began his business career in the banking industry as a loan officer for Indiana National Bank and was manager for Morris Plan Bank. He then owned and operated Creekside Day Care and Kindergarten. Rocco was also a math and reading tutor for IPS. He was a Boy Scout leader and member of the Lions Club. Rocco is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Glenda D. Agostino; daughters, Donna (Agostino) Solberg, husband Robert, and Glenda D. Agostino; sisters, Joyce Griffin, Maria Sims and Josephine Buckles. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 17, 2008 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at Shirley Brothers Irving Hill Chapel, 5377 E. Washington St. A Mass Of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes, 5333 E. Washington Street.

All your classmates at Cathedral Academy will miss you. Everyone enjoyed seeing you at the 50th reunion. We had a lot of good times together, you were a true friend for a lifetime. I'll miss you.
