Marguerite Croce Obituary

Croce, Marguerite MODENA Marguerite "Marite" Croce, age 85, of Modena died Saturday, September 20, 2008 at home, Modena. Mrs. Croce was born July 9, 1923 in Brooklyn, N.Y., the daughter of the late Charles and the late Mary Alice (Rampe) Meyers. She married Leo Russell Croce on June 8, 1946. He died on April 25, 1974. She is the mother of nine sons, including John (Karen) Croce of Clifton Park, N.Y.; four daughters, 31 grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. Calling hours will be Monday, September 22, 2008 from 6-8 p.m. and Tuesday, September 23, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Copeland Funeral Home, Inc., 162 South Putt Corners Road, New Paltz, N.Y. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, September 24, 2008 at St. Charles Borromeo Church, Route 44/55, Gardiner. Burial will follow in St. Charles Cemetery, Gardiner. Memorials may be made to Hospice Foundation, Inc., Memorial Gift Program, 34 Broadway, Kingston, NY 12401; St. Charles Church Society of Mary, Route 44/55, Gardiner, NY 12525; Modena Fire & Rescue, PO Box 73, Modena, NY 12548.
