Jaime Gauvin Obituary

Gauvin, Jaime Marie ALBANY Jaime Marie Gauvin, 26, passed away suddenly on Saturday, October 11, 2008 at the Albany Medical Center Hospital. Born in Albany, Jaime was a resident of the St. Margaret's Center in Albany and also a 2004 graduate of Guilderland High School. Jaime's greatest love was being surrounded by her family. She was predeceased by her mother, Gail Alesio Gauvin. Jaime is survived by her parents, William and Linda Gauvin; five brothers and sisters, William Gauvin Jr., Tracy Buzzo, Christopher Gauvin, Wendy Skuda and Kevin Gauvin; two stepsisters, Michelle Rangel and Lisamarie Walsh. Jaime is also survived by her maternal grandmother, Shirley Alesio and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours, to which relatives and friends are invited, will be held Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. at DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home, 1605 Helderberg Ave., Rotterdam. Funeral services will begin 9:15 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home followed by a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Immaculate Conception Church, Bradt St. Burial will be private in St. Cyril's Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in Jaime's memory to St. Margaret's Center, 27 Hackett Blvd., Albany, NY 12208.

Dear Gauvin Family...
I just wanted to write and tell you that Jaime was a special young lady. I will cherish the times I spent with her. I thank God for Jaime. She will be greatly missed but she is free and with her mother. My prayers are with you all.

I AM SO SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS. I TOOK CARE OF JAIME WHEN SHE FIRST CAME TO ST. MARGARETS. SHE WAS SUCH A JOY TO BE AROUND MAY SHE REST IN PEACE. MAY GOD WRAP HIS ARMS AROUND THE WHOLE FAMILY TO GIVE YOU ALL STRENGH IN YOUR TIME OF NEED.
