Edith Noonan Obituary

Noonan, Edith GLENMONT Edith Noonan, 83, died Sunday, October 12, 2008 at Albany Memorial Hospital surrounded by her loving family and with the compassion of Hospice and the tremendous staff of the hospital. Mrs. Noonan was born Edith Meyers on April 5, 1925 to the late Chauncey and Matilda Meyers of Delanson, N.Y. She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Victor Noonan, and was the dedicated, loving mother and friend of her children and their families, Robert (Pat) Noonan of Maine, James Noonan, Susan Noonan of Fla., Nancy (Olin) Garrett of Latham, N.Y., Sherry (Max) Lea of Australia and Kelly Hofmann of Greenville, N.Y. Also surviving are her grandchildren, great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank all those who listened, cared for, offered a gentle hand, soft word or sat quietly during her final moments. Your kindness will never be forgotten... We would also like to thank the staff of the Albany Dialysis Center for your care. She loved you all. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 15, 2008 at the Bowen Funeral Home, 97 Old Loudon Road, Latham. As a tribute to her memory, the family requests that contributions be made to the Albany Dialysis Center, 64 Shaker Road, Albany, NY 12204.
