Frank Kunker Obituary

Kunker, Frank E. III ALBANY Frank Kunker, 78, loving and devoted father of the Kunker family, passed on Sunday, October 19, 2008 surrounded by those he loved. Frank was born May 26, 1930, and lived a full 78 years filled with great adventures and with love from his family and friends. He and Jeanette "Peter" Kunker were married for 55 years, and are the embodiment of commitment and everlasting love. They met at Boston University, and both went on to Albany Law School, from which Frank graduated in 1956. Frank was also an alumnus of Albany Academy, class of 1949. Frank will be remembered and will live on through his family, his three children, Faythe Allport, Ted Kunker and Dawn Christopher; his six grandchildren, Trip Allport, Piper Allport, Frank Kunker V, Ryan Kunker, Mackey Christopher and Evan Christopher; his siblings Dolores Kunker, Sonja Kunker, Cherie Latimer, G. Latimer Kunker; uncle of Earl Howard, Camille Howard, and Damian Latimer. Funeral services will be held privately for the family. According to Frank's wishes, a celebration of his life will be held for all his friends, family and loved ones in the near future. In lieu of flowers or other gifts, please make donations to the Hospice Inn at St. Peter's Hospital in Frank's honor.
