My thoughts are with you in your time of loss. "Martysfun1" (Nick) was one of the good guys in our AOL chatroom. He always had a kind word for each of us and was reluctant to share the trials and tribulations of his health condition. "Marty" brightened the chatroom when he entered and was a favorite member of our "Born in the 50s" group. He will be sorely missed. My greatest regret is that I was never able to meet Nick face-to-face. As time passes may you continue to feel the love of his AOL friends and may you find comfort in knowing that you now have a special guardian angel watching over you. I know he is watching over us, too.

God's Speed to Nick and my sincerest sympathies to his family. My virtual friend "Marty" was someone who made people smile and whose concern for others was always ahead of his own. We talked a lot of football and I'll truly miss that! I wish peace to his family and friends.

I will always remember Nick "Marty" as a true "gentleman"..My only regret is that him and I never got to meet in person. I had the great pleasure of talking to him on the phone a few times, and I do thank God for allowing that to happen...He was and will alway be a very special man to me.. At this time of your loss I can only hope your memories will keep you in comfort. I will miss him much~ I know hes in Gods arms now watching over all of us...Peace and comfort to you all...

I always knew Nick as Marty - an online friend. He was kind, thoughtful, caring, positive, and I always looked forward to him being in the room! He loved his family and only shared the good about life! Selfishly missing his presence but thankful there will be no more pain. May God wrap you all in His loving arms and help you find peace!

I knew "Marty"from the Born in the 50s chat room. Nick, as you knew him was always one of the sweetest roomies. He had genuine concern for others and he had a way of making us smile even on the days we might not feel like it. Even though he was ill, he always had cheerful things to say. Many of us do not frequent the room like we use to and I miss that. But life has a way of moving us on. Marty or Nick, however you knew him will be missed on and off line. My sincere sympathies and love to his family and friends.
