Lois Kelleher

Kelleher, Lois TROY Lois Kelleher, 82, of 6th Ave., died suddenly Tuesday, October 28, 2008 at St. Mary's Hospital. Born in Troy, she was the daughter of the late William and Mary Walsh Cunningham. She was a 1945 graduate of Catholic Central High School. Lois had retired in 1984 from the state of New York, having worked at both the office of State Controller Retirement Division and Labor Department. She was a communicant of St. Augustine's Church in Lansingburgh. She was widow of the late William "Whitey" Kelleher who died in 1997. She is mother of Lynn Zalucky and John Kelleher (Janice) of Troy and Kathleen Anderson of Saratoga. She is sister of Martin Cunningham of Troy, the late William Cunningham and Leona Murley, Dorothy Carabis, Frances Lott, Margaret Gamache and Gertrude Hicks. Also surviving are her grandchildren of whom she was especially proud, Courtney and Ashley Zalucky, Chelsea and Mary Anderson and Shannon Kelleher; as well as several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend funeral services Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at St. Augustine's Church in Lansingburgh where the Mass of Christian Burial will be offered. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Waterford. At Lois' request there will be no public viewing hours.
