Dear Family, We send our sincere condolences on the death of Tante Mina. She is the last of the old guard and, I feel, the last link to my childhood. She had so many great stories about the family. I am glad we were able to have such a good visit with her in March. Love to all, Lidy & Gary

To the extended Lubbers family we offer our condolences and wish each of you the peace that comes with the knowledge that your mothers/ Omas life was a life well lived. It has always been our privilege to be included in many family gatherings or just stopping by the house on the corner and have always felt so welcomed. Debbie and I have many fond memories and stories that include Harry & Wilhelmina, be it my amazement with the quality of Harry’s wood working or the cautions/ advise Wilma received in the strong Dutch accent her mom retained through out her life. Our kids always pester Wilma to recount one of her stories in her mother’s accent, they love it. They usually start with; Now Vilma let me tell you….
Our thoughts and prayers are with each of you. I do wonder what she is saying to Don and Harry right now.
