Lopez, Margaret RENSSELAER Margaret Staats Lopez, age, 92 years of Rensselaer passed away on her husbands 105th birthday Wednesday, September 26, 2007 at Albany Memorial Hospital. She was born in Tivoli, N.Y. and has been a resident of Renss-elaer for many years. Mrs. Lopez was a home-maker and a communicant of St. Joseph's Church in Rensselaer. She enjoyed crocheting and knitting. She was the wife of the late John J. Lopez; mother of Dolores (Jack) Pulver of West Sand Lake, Rita (Bill) Brown of Rensselaer, John, Charles and Vincent Lopez, all of Rensselaer, Robert (Darlene) Lopez of Troy; grandmother of Jack M. (Sandra) Pulver, Laurie (Michael) Frey, both of Colonie, Donald W. (Vicky) Pulver of Nassau, Linda Chamberlin of Averill Park, Sharon Lopez of Troy, Holly (David) VanVorst and Bill Brown Jr., both of Rensselaer, James Lopez of La., John Lopez Jr. of Fla., Cheryl Cross of Selkirk, Keith (Carol) Lopez of Albany; sister of the late Clarence and Charles Staats. Also survived by 12 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank the Albany Memorial Hospital Hospice nurses for the good care shown to our mother. Funeral from the W.J. Lyons Jr. Funeral Home, 1700 Washington Avenue, Rensselaer, Saturday morning at 9:00 and 10:00 at St. Joseph's Church, 3rd Street, Rensselaer where the Liturgy of Christian Death and Burial will be offered. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home Friday from 5-8 p.m. Interment will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, East Greenbush.
