Elizabeth Giacomini Obituary

Giacomini, Elizabeth COEYMANS Elizabeth M. Budlong Giacomini, 84, entered eternal life on Thursday, October 4, 2007 at Julie Blair Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Albany. Born in Rensselaer, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Carrie E. Holloway Budlong. She resided in the Rensselaer, Albany and Coeymans areas. Elizabeth attended St. Patrick's Church and was a member and former chaplain of the VFW Auxiliary of Ravena, N.Y. She is survived by her husband Andrew L. Giacomini of Coeymans; her children, Andrew L. Giacomini Jr. (Janice) of Burke, Va., Carol A. Simpson of Cape Vincent, N.Y., Robin B. Grant (Kirk) of Cape Vincent and Mary Beth Ottaviano and companion Garry Adams of Clifton Park, N.Y. She also survived by her brother, Frank H. Budlong of Voorheesville, N.Y. and a sister, Theresa V. McTague of Cape Vincent; also surviving are 13 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; and one niece. Elizabeth was predeceased by brothers, George and Donald Budlong; sisters, Mildred S. Marlow, Carrie C. Budlong and Bernice Budlong; and granddaughter, Renee M. Merchant. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 9, 2007 at St. Patrick's Church, Ravena. Interment will follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Coeymans. Relatives and friends may call at the Pero Memorial Funeral Home, Ravena on Sunday, October 7, 2007 from 4-7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice, 445 New Karner Rd., Albany, NY 12205 or to the Alzheimer's Association, 85 Watervilet Ave., Albany, NY 12206.
