Shirley Lavigne Obituary

Lavigne, Shirley Ann COHOES Shirley Ann Lavigne, 69, of Willow St., died Saturday, October 6, 2007 at her residence. Born and educated in Albany, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Elizabeth Briesse Lawton, Sr. She was the widow of William E. Lavigne, Sr.; mother of William E. Lavigne, Jr, Robert P. Lavigne, Brenda L. Lawton, Barbara J. Marshman of Cohoes, Sharon A. O'Donnell, Patrick H. Lavigne of Fla., Karen M. Tomisman of Latham and stepmother of Patrick Lavigne of Glens Falls. She was the sister of Jean Swanson of Rensselaer, Donald and Junior Lawton of Albany, Gerry Lawton of Indianapolis, Sonny Lawton of Mass., Bud Lawton of Troy and Alice Davey of Colonie. Also surviving are 26 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Philip J. Brendese Funeral Home, 133 Broad St. (Rt. 32), Waterford. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Glenmont. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday 4-8 p.m.
