Anna Marmillo Obituary

Marmillo, Anna MECHANICVILLE Mrs. Anna Peluso Marmillo, 90, of Grove Street, died Monday, October 15, 2007 at St. Mary's Hospital, Troy, after a brief illness. A native and lifelong resident of Mechanicville, she was born August 3, 1917, daughter of the late Louis and Mary Zecchini Peluso, and widow after 66 years, to the late Henry Marmillo, who died this past June 11. A homemaker who liked to cook, and made many delicious pies for her family and friends, she was a communicant of Assumption-St. Paul Church. Survivors include her two daughters, Marie Marmillo and Patty Bagnoli, both of Mechanic-ville; grandchildren, Brian (Mary) Bagnoli, Jeffrey (Shannon) Bagnoli, Lisa (Scott) Flynn, Michael and Marnie Bagnoli; along with seven great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. The last remaining member of her Peluso family, she was predeceased by her brothers, James and Pat Peluso; and sisters, Tina DePaul, Nellie Izzo, Philomena Giulianelli and Jennie Peluso. Funeral service will be held on Thursday at 5:30 p.m. at the DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home, 39 So. Main St., Mechanicville, with burial in St. Paul's Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home Thursday from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Assumption-St. Paul Church Endowment Fund.

Marie and Patty, So sorry to hear of your mom's passing. I'm glad we were able to get together recently. We enjoyed many years of friendship back in "the old days" and have many wonderful memories of the years past. My prayers are with you all.
