Freligh, Orville Garrett FARMINGTON, Conn. Orville Garrett Freligh, 94, passed away peacefully in his sleep September 27, 2007 at Farmington Care Center in Farmington. Born August 10, 1913, he was the son of the late George and Mary Freligh of Niskayuna. He graduated from Nott Terrace High School in 1932. Orville married Katherine Male in June 1943. He was the loving father of Nancy (John) Martin of Menlo Park, Calif.; and devoted grandfather to Jennifer (Ueyn) Block of Menlo Park and David (Kara Gavin) Martin of West Hartford, Conn. A special light in his life was his great-grandson, Jonas Block. He is also survived by his nephew, Walter (Betty) Day; his sister-in-law, Gladys Hawthorne; several nieces, nephews; and dear friends. The family would like to thank the caring staff at the Good Samaritan Lutheran Health Care Center in Delmar and the staff at the Farmington Care Center for all the support, care and kindness given to Orville.
