Joseph Dannhardt Obituary

Dannhardt, Joseph H. Sr. ALBANY Joseph H. Dannhardt Sr., 79, died Friday, October 19, 2007 at Rosewood Gardens. Born in Brooklyn, he was the son of the late George and Irene Braunstein Dannhardt. Joe enjoyed scouting and camping. He had worked as a driver for Sealy Mattress Co. and as a guard for Security Guard. He was the dear husband of Grace Kroencke Dannhardt; beloved father of Alan Dannhardt, Theresa Pearce, Maryann Bell, Patricia Dannhardt and Joseph Dannhardt; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren survive him. Funeral services Tuesday at 8:15 a.m. are from the McVeigh Funeral Home, 208 North Allen Street, Albany thence to Blessed Sacrament Church, Albany at 9:00 a.m. where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Relatives and friends are invited and may call Monday 4:00 to 7:00 in the funeral home. Interment will follow the Mass in Memory's Garden Cemetery. Those wishing to remember Joseph in a special way may send a contribution to the Alzheimer's Association-NENY Chapter, 85 Watervliet Ave., Albany, NY 12206.
