Regina Fournier Obituary

Fournier, Regina M. MENANDS Regina Madeline Fournier, 84, died Sunday, October 21, 2007 at Albany Medical Center Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Redford, N.Y., she was the beloved daughter of the late Wilfred and Dorothy Anderson Gauthier. Regina worked for many years in the village of Menands as the senior citizens director. She had enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 1946, but with the end of hostilities, she was honorably discharged. She was the wife of the late Louis J. Fournier; loving mother of Louis Gary Fournier (Lauretta) of Saranac Lake, Marlene D'Aloisio of Long Island, Sharon Fournier of Menands and Amy Eglin (Tim) of Chatham; beloved grandmother of Lori, Becky, Whitney, Erica, Michael, Kristen, Marcia, Jessica, Geena, and Sara; great-grandmother of Samantha, Delaney, Daniel and Thomas; sister of Theresa Brunell of Dannamora, Rita Nephew of Mineville, and the late Alice Coryer, Wilfred "Bud" Gauthier, Janet Forkey and Harvey Gauthier; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services Thursday at 11:15 a.m. from the McVeigh Funeral Home, 208 North Allen Street, Albany, thence to Sacred Heart Church, North Albany at 12:00 p.m. where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Relatives and friends are invited and may call Wednesday, 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow the Mass in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.
