To me it seemed that Mary was much
like the Rose Kennedy of her Family.
She seemed to be a strong yet Calming force. I only wish I had been her next-door neighbor. I would
have visited often. Miss ya Mary,
Love....

Mr Dobert, Shawn and Brian,
I'm so sorry to read that Mary has passed on - I have wonderful memories of her during her time at State Ed. She was a delightful woman - full of witty stories, wonderful recipes, and a huge heart. We kept in touch briefly after she left, but she remained in my thoughts always.
My heartfelt prayers go out to all of you as you get through this difficult time.
Mary will be missed.

To the Dobert & St. James families,
I am so sorry for the loss of Mary. I worked with her for many years in the Call Center and missed her so much when she retired. Mary had such humor and wit, and compassion with everyone she came into contact with. I'll always remember her stories about her family, especially the girls and their escapades when she would watch them. Her passing has definitely left an empty space here.

Dobert Family,
I was so sad today to hear about your Mom. She was such a good person.
I remember when a single path ran through the woods between our houses, and the day you built your swimming pool.
I wish you all to be well right now and know that everyone is thinking of you in their thoughts and prayer's.

Dear Tommy,
You may not remember me, but I graduated with Mary from Saint Rose and last saw her about four years ago at a little reunion dinner at the restaurant in Armory Garage with Gail Anderson and Judy Maguire. We had such a good time and Mary was her usual upbeat self. My husband has been very ill for some time and I know what you and you family have been going through. Mary was a very special person. Please accept my most heartfelt sympathy.
Sincerely,
Barbara "Bargie" LaPorte Hiney Schreiner

In My Pocket
I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.
My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.
They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.
Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.
But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

Mr. Dobert, Shawn and Brian: It's been a long time since I've seen you all, but you haven't been far from my thoughts. Our days in the Dept. of Medicine seem forever ago, but the memories are still there. I remember Shawn how much you raved about your mom and dad. There is no doubt that you love them very much. May those memories and the support of your family be with you during this difficult time.
