To the Entire Williams Family,
It was a sad day hearing of your loss. My wish for you is that many wonderful memories will help ease the pain and put a smile on your face and in your heart. Sonny sits in a great place and will continue to guide you as long as you may need him. He is also in great company and I am sure they are all having a wonderful laugh right now. My memories of Sonny will stay etched in my mind forever, especially of him being Santa. May God bless you and keep you strong.

Dear Williams Family,

I have to say that, between Sonny and rest of you, there is no other family that I would have wanted in the little blue house that I could look upon from our kitchen window as I was growing up. I thoroughly enjoyed every exchange I ever had with Sonny and ALWAYS looked up to him as a leader in the Hancock Community. From a very young age, Sonny was Santa Claus to me and he will forever be etched in my mind as such.

You are all in my thoughts and Sonny will be fondly kept in my memories.

Sincerely,

Paige Torrey

Dear Williams Family,
I am truly sorry for your loss. I had gotten to know Sonny through his work place and he would stop in for "visit" from time to time! I loved it when he would appear at the door and always put a smile on our faces here! Most of all I truly loved his stories! All of us here at Berkshire Graphics Inc. will truly miss him! You are in our thoughts and prayers. The Mastrogiovanni Family & Berkshire Graphics Incorporated

Aunt Elsie and kids, What to say about Uncle Sonny? It was such a shock to Stan and I to learn of his passing. He was my favorite UNCLE. Even though we didn't see each other too often, he was always there on important occasions. Uncle Sonny was FULL of life-always kidding around and playing. My fondest memory is: the way he would grab your knees and squeeze!!! You were lucky to have his undivided attention as he had many nieces and nephews that loved to play with him. He made everyone feel extra special. Please know you all are in our thoughts and prayers and remember the Love he has spread to many many people.

Aunt Elsie, Stacey, Roger, Mel, Art.
After reading all of the entries already made, I can say that Uncle Sonny made the same impression on everyone he knew. He was truely a great man, and an awesome uncle! Without knowing it, he touched and taught each and every one of us! I have so many memories of picnics at your house and Grams, July 4th's and even Saturday morning coffees. Uncle Sonny would always take the time to lend a hand, give advice and at the same time teach you how to fix whatever was broken. I will never forget the trips to the Boys Club to see wrestling as a small boy, and the times spent watching him fix some piece of machinery in the shop. Its not always easy to say how you feel about someone, or express how much you'll miss them, but I think you all know how I feel about Uncle Sonny!! I will truely miss that great, great man! I love you all!

Elsie ,Roger,Stacey,Melanie and Art....Sonny (Also known as my second Dad) I will miss him very much his smile his warm heart. I remember growing up he taught me how to put the milking machine on the cows utters, and the little stool i wore. I remember how he taught my how to drive the tractor down the lane to get the cows. I remember always as a child pulling on his long beard.Sonny never judged anyone he ever met in life. I also remember the little toy tractors he had, as he would sometimes push us kids on just get started to peddle.
Sonny was even funny at my wedding as he stuck his tongue out when someone took his photo. I will miss him very much. God bless you Elsie ,Roger,Stacey,Melanie and Art....Sonny will be missed Love you.......Philip & Susan Tetreault ..Nebraska

AuntElsie,Roger,Stacey,Melanie,Art,andFamily,
Uncle Sonny was a great UNCLE to me,much more than just an Uncle, he was a Role Model, a Teacher, Advisor, and best of all a friend that was ready to help with anything. I hope that during the past 3 years he had as much fun as I while buying my new John Deere, along with setting up my new BlueBerry and Raspberry farm. I know he always looked forward in helping me, and I always depended on his advice. I have a feeling that you didn't need to be a nephew or niece for Uncle Sonny to offer his help. You could have been anyone or anywhere that just needed help and his friendly smile and helping hand was there for all.

Robin and I along with Billy and Scotty will miss him more than any words I could ever come up with. I hope that in my dreams tonight he is chasing me, down in the cow barn and He will probably catch me as he always did when I was a little boy and let me go so I could be chased again. Of course, Old DUD Williams would say to my Dad (Art James)"Sonny just loves to raise hell with those kids" each shaking their head with a smile. Uncle Sonny put alot of smiles on alot of different faces during his life. And his memory will do the same as we recall him.
Love you Uncle Sonny, and each day when I look at My Blueberries, I'll be thinking of you.

Love ya, and keep your chin up!!!! Aunt Elsie and family,

Elise & family,

I can’t remember a time when running into Sonny didn’t make me smile, even as a child. So many wonderful memories. We are all better for having had him, his warmth and humor in our lives. While nothing I can say will make this easier, know that you are all in our prayers and thoughts. God speed Sonny......you are missed!!

Elsie and family,

Please know you are in our thoughts during this difficult time. I always had a great respect for Sonny. I will always remember our "yearly" tradition of exchanging lilacs at the Memorial Day parade. Even after I left the fire dept, I would still return to watch the parades and nearly every year, Sonny had Lilacs in his pocket for me. He was a great man, and will be missed terribly.
