Donald Pinchback Obituary

Pinchback, Donald HICKORY, N.C. Donald Pinchback, 63, entered eternal peace on Tuesday, October, 30, 2007. Born May 22, 1944 in Albany, N.Y., he was the son of Mozelle Pinchback and the late Francsyre Pinchback. He was a local athlete, remembered for his skills on the basketball court, and a graduate of Schuyler High School in Albany, N.Y. After many years of service helping to educate the troubled adolescents of the area, Donald retired from the State of New York Division For Youth. An avid camper and fisherman and longtime Knicks fan, Donald is survived by his partner, Carol Bauwens; children, Yvette (Gail), Marta, Justin (Sara), and Melissa; stepson, Jeremiah; ten grandchildren, Jessica, Ashley, Justin, Shya, Rory, Elijah, Deshawn, Deon, Aarhek, and Aries; siblings, Rev. Jinaki Jabari (Marion Bryant), Jacqueline McLean (Charles Frances), the late Franklin Pinchback; and a host of relatives and friends. He will be remembered dearly. Services will be held 12:00 p.m. Friday, November 2 at the Spiritualist Church of Love and Light, 2141 Eastern Parkway, Schenectady, N.Y. 12309 Contributions in Donald's memory may be made to the Troy Boys and Girls Club, 1010 5th Avenue, Troy, NY 12180.
