You do not know me, but I felt compelled to write due to the upcomming anniversary. I am Richard Bancroft's daughter, Donna's neice. I am sorry I did not know about your loss, but I believe I have pictures of Edwin in the family album. I was going to see if Aunt Donna wished them, but I can not find her contact info. It has been a year since I last talked to her or Edwin. I am now in Malone, living in the family home, please accept my love and wishes.

Dear Mary, I sit hear crying as I read through all of the heart warming notes of condolences. And, I reflect on all of the wonderful memories we shared. Please find comfort in knowing that Ed is in Heaven in peace and harmony with God. He is looking down on us smiling, and saying to himself, "I didn't know I was so loved by so many people". And, he was...so very much.

My prayers are with you, Mary, and your beautiful family.

Ed was always so serious...if there was a laugh to be found, he would always find a way to be in the center of it. A wonderful man, with a terific and loving spouse. He brought much joy, as well as a wonderful family, to all that he did. He should always be remembered for his spirit. Our deepest sympathies to the family for your loss.
