I am so sorry for your loss. I had the great pleasure of working with Dave at the Senate. I looked forward to talking to him and seeing him on a daily basis. Always a smile and a joke. Although I haven't worked at the Senate for a few years now, Dave has been in my thoughts many times. I always admired him for his love for school. Again, I am so sorry for you loss, he will be missed.

Dear JoAnn and Cole Family:
I worked beside Dave in the Senate chamber for nearly 10 years, and I often wondered how he could ever sit still -- this was a man who was always busy, constantly on the move, unflaggingly helpful. I will remember his great good spirits and friendliness, his bad jokes and wicked chuckle, his skill at sudoku, and his number-one priority: family, family, and family.
Dave was a true gentleman and a truly gentle man, and he is very much missed. To the children and grandchildren he cherished, may you fulfill his dearest hopes for you.

To the family of Dave Cole: I want to express my deepest sympathy for losing such a wonderful man. I have worked with Dave for quite a few years in the Senate, he was always there whenever we had questions about our fax machine or was able to help us out with the defensive driving class. He was a great person and I will miss seeing him around the Senate. Know that he is not suffering and my thoughts and prayers are with the family.

Dear Cole family,I worked with Dave in the State Senate for many years. He was such a hard working guy ,with a great sense of humor and a deep love for his family.I lost my mother to the same disease in March of this year, so I know the pain of your loss. He's not suffering anymore and he's in God's graces... My thoughts and prayers go out to you and I was awful sorry to see him get so sick, but yet, he still came to work. That the kind of man Dave was, he just kept going, even though he was really not feeling well .... God got another good soul in heaven and if there is anything broke in heaven, Dave will be the first to fix it.I'm going to miss a lot....God Bless, Don Moore
