Not sure what to say?

I am so sorry for your loss. I had the great pleasure of working with Dave at the Senate. I looked forward to talking to him and seeing him on a daily basis. Always a smile and a joke. Although I haven't worked at the Senate for a few years now, Dave has been in my thoughts many times. I always admired him for his love for school. Again, I am so sorry for you loss, he will be missed.

Donna & Mrs. Cole,

I would like to extend my deepest sympathy to the family of Dave Cole. His presence will be greatly missed in the Senate by so many people. You always knew things would be okay again when Dave came to fix something. He was always the gentleman.

Joann, Donna and family. I am so sorry for your loss, I know words are just words but we go way back and I just wanted to say Dave was a gem. Very few people can be so well liked as he was, you know this and others do too.
Sincerly,

I am so sorry to have read about Uncle Dave. I had the pleasure of working with him in the Senate and knowing him from the Villa Valenti Restaurant. What a great man he was. Very loving and caring to all he came in contact with. He will be missed greatly. God be with all of you at this time and grant you comfort in knowing that he is at peace now.

JoAnn -
I am so sorry. My thoughts and prayers continue to be with you and your family. Dave loved you so deeply, and I believe that he'll never really leave. He'll always be watching over you.

Dear JoAnn and Cole Family:

I worked beside Dave in the Senate chamber for nearly 10 years, and I often wondered how he could ever sit still -- this was a man who was always busy, constantly on the move, unflaggingly helpful. I will remember his great good spirits and friendliness, his bad jokes and wicked chuckle, his skill at sudoku, and his number-one priority: family, family, and family.

Dave was a true gentleman and a truly gentle man, and he is very much missed. To the...
