Chris and I were friends during High School. We had many fun, silly and creative times together. I am so sad to hear of his passing. I just only found out and it has come as a real shock.
To Chris' brother Rob, my very sweet and dear friend, and his Mom and Dad-my prayers go out to you and I wish you peace as you make your way through this difficult time.

To Chris family;
I received with great pain the bad news about Chris passing away. I worked with Chris at Macy's. He was the best manager I had ever worked with. Chris was always smiling and was very supportive of his subordiantes, who he treated with great respect. The humankind lost a wonderful man.

I am so sorry for your loss. I knew Chris through working with him at Kohl's, and he was a wonderful and caring man. He always had this "little boy" grin whenever he found something funny. I remember him laughing at Sherri and I, every time we would start "heckling" each other. Chris was the one who hired me, and I will never forget him. He helped me every time we had to set ads for the next day, and I appreciate everything he did for me. God Bless him, and his family. He will be greatly missed.

Words can't express what a joy it was to know Chris and what this world will be like without him. I was a supervisor under Chris at Kohl's and he was a manager that would stop and help anyone with anything. He always had an open door. Everyone Chris met was touched by him because he made everyone feel special. As many have written, he was more then a manager, he was a caring friend. He impacted Kohl's in a very special way, and he will be a part of our store and our lives forever. I have heard so many kind and funny stories of Chris and have many myself in the short time that we got to know him.
To his parents: You should be extremely proud of the man you raised that everyone is singing the praises of. He was one of the most selfless men I've ever met. I had the utmost respect for him.
To his wife and family: My heart and prayers go out to you. I can't imagine what the loss of Chris must mean to you, as again, we were only able to know him for a very brief time. I know that you have many fond memories that you can hold on to.
I consider myself very blessed and privileged to have known Chris.

I am so sorry for the loss of Chris. I only knew him for a short time at Kohls in Saratoga. I remember him as having such a HUGE smile on his face and was always laughing. Our store will not be the same with out him. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. May Chris rest in peace.

Nothing we can say comes anywhere near the grief and sorrow that so many people that had the honor of knowing Chris are feeling. He could make a stranger feel like they had been friends with him his entire life. His bright friendly smile and caring personality could warm the heart of anyone. There are no words to describe how I feel of Chris's passing. He was a wonderful person and terrific to work with when I was at Macy's in the housewares department with him as my department manager. He shall be truly missed by all who ever came in contact with him. a true gentleman. May God shine upon you forever.

I have known Chris and his family since High School. I have many fond memories from our youth. Chris and I spent many days riding our bikes together, and formed bonds of friendship that have lasted to the present. Those were good days. More recently, I used to visit him at Macy's or he would call or stop in my work to say hello and let me know he had started working with Kohl's. I was shocked and deeply upset at his passing. I want to express my deepest sympathies to Tammy and the Nolin family. I plan on attending his services to show my respects. Chris, I will miss you.

I was so sorry to read of Chris's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Tammy. I can only imagine your loss. I met Chris at Macys in Crossgates and he asked me during Christmas if I would like to work with him in the Jewelry Department where he was the manager. He was so kind and good. Whenever I asked him about anything in the department, he was wonderful -- great insight, great problem-solving abilities and ever so patient. To Chris's family..I had the pleasure of knowing Chris through some home construction he did for me. He was so pleasant to talk to and showed passion for whatever we talked about while he was working, the job at hand but mostly animals. I was shocked to hear of his passing and hope you all find some comfort in knowing he touched so many lives. I am so sorry for the loss of Chris.
