James Molesky Obituary

Molesky, James J. Sr. COHOES James J. Molesky Sr., 79, of Cohoes, N.Y., died Friday, November 30, 2007 at Albany Medical Center Hospital, embraced by his loving family. Born in Cohoes, he was the son of the late John and Martha Moylan Molesky. Jim was educated in the Cohoes schools and was a resident of Van Rensselaer Manor in North Greenbush. He retired from the former Nashua Corp. in Watervliet in 1989 as a machine operator. Jim was a Navy veteran serving during the Korean Conflict and a recipient of the Naval Occupation (Europe) and the National Defense Service medals. He enjoyed fishing, gardening and horseracing. He is survived by his devoted children, Maureen T. (Wayne) Cook of Latham, Michael J. (Neysa) Molesky of East Greenbush and James J. (Kristina) Molesky of Johnson-ville; grandchildren, Wayne III, Shannon, Kasie, Leah, Jessica, Melissa and Steven; his former wife Rose Molesky of Cohoes; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his daughter, Marilyn Molesky, and his siblings, Margaret Molesky, Martha Stanczak, William, John, Thomas and Edward Molesky. Funeral from the Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Ltd., 105 Vliet Blvd., Cohoes Tuesday morning at 10:30. Mass of Christian Burial from St. Augustine's Church, Lansingburgh at 11:00. Interment in St. Mary's Cemetery, Troy. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home Tuesday morning from 9:30-10:30.
