To the Pelton Family: I was in the National Guard with Pat back in the '70's. I remember him fondly as a 'take charge' kind of guy. I am very sorry for your loss and hope that the fond memories you hold dear will help sustain you in the weeks and months to come.

Daddy,
One minute you're there and the next your gone.
It's seems just like yesturday you were here.
You've watched me grow up and have always been a special part of me.
I just can't believe that you're gone for good.
I remember the times we had and the conversations we had together over the years.
I miss you more than I can explain and I wish you were still here.
You were the best person to be around and you always did what was right.

To the World's Best Father,
Even though you are not here with us physically you will always be with us in our hearts forever..
I will always have this empty feeling in my heart because you are not here but you are not in anymore pain and you are up in Heaven watching over all of us...
It is very hard and painful knowing that you are going to miss so many things in our lives...
But i will always miss you and i will always feel the loss for you...
You will always be My Guardian Angel
I Love You Dad
I will see you up in Heaven..
Love,
"Lovie"

Dear Ruthann and Family,
I am so sorry for your loss. I have such great memories of your family as I was growing up. Pat is in many of them. He was always so kind to me and treated me like part of the family. I saw him a few years back at Sunset and we chatted for a while. Pat was a great person, and I shall never forget him.

To my dearest Husband,
There are not enough words in the dictionary to describe everything you meant to me.
When we met, there was that instant connection that most people aren't lucky enough to experience, finding your Soul Mate.
Realizing you're not physically here any more to talk to, laugh with, to hug and to hold...saddens me so.
But because of my love for you, I know it was time to let you go.
I can still feel you all around me...you're still keeping me strong
and when it comes to my time...You know where I belong.
I'll see you in Heaven.
Love Kathy

To the Pelton Family,
I was shocked and saddened to lose my cousin Patrick. I have such memories of all of us Peltons from Colonie & West Sand Lake & Ravina raising the roof. Living so closely to the Laing Street gang, however, gave us so much together time. My heart goes out to all of you; I miss seeing you all and think about you often. Stephanie and Children, although we have never met, I will keep you in my heart and prayers. Sending you all love. Debbie (Pelton) Elsner

To the family of Pat,I didn't know Pat personally but have said hello many times in passing at our job at Sears. He always gave a pleasant smile and returned the greeting. The Sears family will miss a nice person. Many people have expressed sadness of a fellow well liked associate.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man."
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.
