Gerald Kane Obituary

Kane, Gerald J. III OSWEGO Gerald J. Kane III, 47, of Oswego and formerly of the Capital District, died Saturday, December 1, 2007 at Oswego Hospital. Born in Troy, he was the beloved son of Gerald J. and Patricia Wooster Kane Jr. Jerry lived most of his life in the Capital District and the last year in Oswego. He graduated from Shenende-howa High School and worked construction locally. He enjoyed fishing, camping and was a fan of NASCAR. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his loving children, Rachel and Victoria Kane of Scotia and Joshua J. Kane of Glenville; siblings, Dawn (William) Fingar of Ballston Spa, Karen (Stephen Hart) Smith of Clifton Park, Pamela (Darrin) Jacques of Waterford and Christopher (Holly) Kane of Ballston Spa; and many nieces, nephews; aunts and uncles. Funeral from the Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Ltd., 105 Vliet Blvd., Cohoes, Thursday morning at 8:30. Mass of Christian Burial from St. Mary's Church in Crescent at 9:00. Interment in St. Agnes Cemetery, Cohoes. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home Wednesday from 4-7 p.m.
