Poppa,
You are the best Poppa. I had fun playing cowboys with you and singing "That's Amore". Grandma Boo-Boo gave me a picture of the three of us. I will have my mom hang it up in my room so I can remember you. I love you Poppa...

Young Jim and Norma,
I am very saddened to hear about Jimmy D. Unfortunately I was not able to make it to the Wake due to my own Mom's passing on Thursday.
I remember when I was coaching Jimmy in 6th grade and he gave me a hard time and I had him leave the gym. When the old man showed up he had him come back in and apologize to me. My kind of Dad. Jimmy D never questioned what happened that night. Hang in there guys.

Sad to read of Jimmy D's passing today. He and my father, Louie DeGeorge were friends. I remember my son standing at the fence in the yard yelling here comes Jimmy D - he loved it when he stopped by because he would always try to teach him a word or two in Italian.
I'm sure my Father was there to welcome his friend.
May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.
