My sincerest sympathy for Steves family and his work family. Steve was a costumer at a restaraunt I worked at. My thoughts are with you at this time. I first met Steve in 4th grade and can say that from the time he was a boy, he was always a gentleman. He could put people at their ease with his charm, great sense of humor and goodness of heart. Many years would go by and I would meet up with him at a reunion, or around town, and he was always happy to catch me up on his family, friends and how he was doing at work. He's one of those good guys, and it has always been a pleasure knowing him. He will be missed.

I am deeply saddened by the passing of a great man. I enjoyed his company and was fortunate enough to coach a football team with him. Late summer and the fall will never be the same. I will always think of him at his best. He was a great coach. Not because of winning but for the way the boys loved playing for him. Billy still tells me he was the best coach ever. Joe and I agree he is the best coach.

He had so much character and truly cared about how the kids felt. He wanted to make learning and playing football as much fun as he could. Michael loved having him as his football coach for 3 years.
