William Clas Obituary

Clas, William C. GEORGETOWN, Texas William C. Clas, age 81, of Georgetown, Texas, formerly of Albany, passed away on Saturday, December 1, 2007. He was born in Albany on January 3, 1926 to parents Adam C. Clas and Elizabeth (McEvoy) Clas. William served in the US Navy during World War II. After 33 years of service, William retired from with the National Lead Company. He came out of retirement and opened his own business called High Tech Tool where he served as the chairman and CEO for several years. William retired again to devote time with his family and his church. He is a member of Santa Rosa Catholic Church in Georgetown, Texas and a fourth degree knight with the Knights of Columbus. He is survived by his wife, Frances Clas of Georgetown, Texas; two sons, Thomas Clas and wife Lois of Napierville, Ill. and Daniel Clas and wife Jamie of Warrenville, Ill.; daughter, Kathleen Clas and husband Kevin of Denver, Colo.; grandchildren, Kathleen, Kelly, Danielle, Annamarie, Christina, Elizabeth, and Adam Clas and Shea and Riley Dunn; and one great-grandchild, Bella Pearl Clas. Graveside services will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Monday, December 10, 2007 at Our Lady of the Angels in Albany. Memorial contributions may be made Knight of Columbus of Andice, P.O.
