Clarice E. Pleat

Pleat, Clarice ALBANY Clarice E. Pleat, 84, born into Eternal Life Friday, December 7, 2007 at St. Peter's Nursing and Rehabilitation Center with her beloved family by her side. Born in Albany, she was the daughter of the late Lewis and Anna May Clark Ruppert. Clarice was a lifelong resident of Colonie and a graduate of Roessleville High School. She was employed by General Accident Company for many years and was also involved in the real estate business. She was a longtime member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church. Clarice was predeceased by her beloved husband, Kenneth W. Pleat in August of 2006. Her dear son Richard Pleat also predeceased her in September of 2007. She was the mother of Kenneth L. Pleat (Susan) of Niskayuna; dear grandmother of Andrew Pleat (Tara) and Scott Pleat (Shelette); sister of Pearl Schultz of Colonie; sister-in-law of George Pleat of Columbia, Md. and Jack Murphy (Joan) of Ft. Myers, Fla.; three great-grand-children and several nieces and nephews survive Clarice. The family would like to thank the staff of St. Peter's Nursing and Rehabilitation for the wonderful care they gave to their mother and father over the past ten years. Funeral services Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at Our Savior's Lutheran Church. Relatives and friends are invited and may call Tuesday, 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the McVeigh Funeral Home, 208 North Allen Street, Albany. Interment will follow the Service at St. John's Lutheran Cemetery.
