Missed you so much yesterday...Remembering Memorial Day picnics at the house, on the deck with your new flowers planted and all. Playing horseshoes, listening to country music, kids getting dirty, cold beer in coolers, all your red, white and blue EVERYWHERE...right down to red forks in your picnic doll !! I really miss them and YOU...Holidays are still the toughest.....and today, Scott turning 50 !! How about that...3 of your kids turning 50 !! I just can't say ENOUGH of how much you've touched my life and ALL the things in life that you've taught me just about "LIVING"!! I MISS YOU SO VERY MUCH and as we come upon the anniversary of your death it makes me just know to live each day as it's my last!! You have always taught us to enjoy each and EVERY day as you just NEVER know when is when!!! Anyway, I know I'm rambling on but I JUST WISH, how much I WISHED you were still here!! Happy 72nd Mom !!...I know...2 days late !
Thought about you (and Kyle !) all day... Wish you were here to celebrate with ! I miss you all the time...It HAS gotten a little easier and I smile instead of cry when I think of you. Yesterday was one of the most surrealest day of my life!! I know you tought me to be strong but it was the MOST horrible day in my life. The only thing to get me through yesterday was seeing that rainbow in the sky and I KNEW right there and then that you were waiting for Ry-guy! :-) I MISS and THINK of you everyday. Thinking about you alot lately. I find another Christmas coming up, and you arent here. I miss you so much, Mom....Everything about the holidays was you...the baking, the decorations, the special ornaments on your beautiful tree, the cards and your smile. You put your heart into Christmas...it NEVER was the gifts...it was all of us together, laughing and being together. Your little touches on everything....I miss them all....and I miss you the most....Will it ever be any easier? You would have been so proud of Kyle as he hosted Thanksgiving this year. Yes, we were all together and he helped make your special stuffing ! I love you so...and will miss you the rest of my life.

By the way....I just want to say that the memorial stone and garden are just beautiful...and Joel , Im guessing, did a magnificent job. Its a lovely tribute and one made from the heart.....Its nice to see it all finished and when the flowers bloom, Mom will have her garden like she always loved. Thanks for giving her the tribute she so deserves.
