Carol W. Dietz

Carol Dietz Obituary

Carroll W. (Joe) Dietz Age 91, passed away November 26, 2008 in Tacoma, WA. After graduating from West Point in 1939, Joe served 30 years in the U.S. Army, and retired as a Colonel. After retiring Joe was a flight instructor and loved to spend his spare time fishing. He is survived by his daughter Carole Potts, granddaughters Tracie Patten and Jessica Stephens, their husbands and children. At Joe's request, there will be no services. Remembrances may be made to MultiCare Hospice, PO Box 5200, Tacoma, WA 98415.

Carole, My condolences on the loss of your Dad. I've thought about your Dad often and heard about him through a friend occasionally. He was such a support and friend to my Mom, Clare, prior to her death in 2004. We moved to Arizona in April after Mom died and enjoy it here. Take care. Karen Sturm
