He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Mark Lauer.
Survivors include his parents, Joshua Mark Lauer and Debra Carol Lauer of Tuscaloosa; and grandparents, Christine and Edward Glowacki of Tuscaloosa, Mark and Charlene Reckase of Okemos, Mich., and Nancy Lauer-Moore of Westfield, Ind.

I have shared your story with the many friends and family we have around the country, and they have joined us in constant prayer for Noah and the two of you. Your family has touched Joslyn and me in a way you will never know, and you will forever be engraved upon our hearts.
