"I'll lend you for a little while a child of mine," He said.
"For you to love the while he lives and mourn for when he's dead.
It may be six or seven years, or twenty-two or three,
But will you, till I call him back, take care of him for me?
He'll bring his charms to gladden you, and should his stay be brief,
You'll have his lovely memories as solace for your grief."

To the Verett family,

I blessed to say that Keller was a good friend of mine that I could always count on to make me laugh, to listen, and to help me see the good things in every situation. He had such a passion in his work as an EMT and he truly loved to take care of others, and and off the job. I pray that God comforts you at this time and I know that Keller will be watching over you with God by his side.

How quickly time passes. The children I once knew have grown into young men and women. I am so sorry for your loss. May your memories sustain you through the difficult days ahead. Rest in God's love and trust that all things "work together for good for those who love him and are called according to his purpose." You are in our prayers. Sincerely, Ginger (Kirkland) Gruetzner (formerly from Columbus Ave. Church of Christ)
