SAVOY Anthony Maurice Savoy, III "Tre" (Age 8 Months) On Wednesday, September 3, 2008. Our beloved Tre is survived by his loving parents, grandparents, great-grandparents and a host of other relatives and friends. Viewing, Saturday, September 13, 2008, at 10 a.m., service at 11 a.m. at East Washington Heights Baptist Church, 2220 Branch Ave., S.E., Washington, DC 20020. Pastor Kip B. Banks, officiating.

Lord, I cried when it was breaking news, I cry now at my broken heart. I didn't know Tre or the family but I could never imagine your pain. The Lord will always continue to bless you, though you will question "why did this happen to me?" Folks say that time heals and you are not alone. This hurt many, many people that heard the story and/or viewed Tre's photos. Love you, bless.

I did not know this beautiful little boy but I love him so much like he was my own. I send my condolenses to your family. God wont give you more than u can bear. I know it hurts and it seems you wont never get past this grief but cherish every moment, smile, laugh and kiss that baby tre gave u. God has called him home and I KNOW that he is smiling down at mommy and daddy telling you that he is Okay.

My precious little angel .... I did not know you but I love you like my own. And when I saw your picture my heart was heavy but, you are with your Heavenly Father now....so you are in the best hands and this is so comforting, nothing or no one can harm you.

Do not stand at my grave and forever weep. I am not there I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow. I am a diamond glints on the snow I am the sunlight on the ripened grain I am the gentle autumns rain. When you awaken in the mornings hush I am the swift uplifting rush of quiet birds in circled flight. May God's peace that surpasses all understanding endow you during your time of sorrow. Baby "Tre" is resting in the sweet arms of Jesus and may your family find comfort in knowing that during your time of mourning Jesus will never leave you or forsake you. Be encouraged in knowing that joy will come in the mourning and God is singing over you as you face this time of sorrow. May He continually hold you in His arms as He bottles your tears.

I am so terribly sorry for your precious loss! We never can understand why such happenings are allowed to occur and must trust in our Lord to give us the will and strength to continue on this life's path without Tre. We are all God's children, all working our way to be with Him. Tre just gets to be with him much sooner. May God's Love and Peace with you during this traumatic event.

When I first seen/heard about this it immediately brought me to tears. I would love to extend my heart felt sympathy and condolences to you and your family. I too have lost a son, my first born and there is no greater pain than the pain and hurt you feel but I ALWAYs reflect on and repeat "GOD WILL NEVER GIVE YOU NO MORE THAN YOU CAN BEAR" please parents repeat this and in time it will help ease your pain....

My heart is heavy in sorrow. The BIBLE tells us that JESUS wept. It is ok to cry. The BIBLE also tells us that vingence is my saith the LORD and the LORD will repay. The BIBLE says to be absent from the body is to be present with the LORD. Note that your baby is resting in the arms of JESUS and one day you will see him again. The LORD does not make mistakes, you see HE giveth and he taketh away. We are here on borrowed time and we have to get our souls right so that one day when GOD calls us home we to can be ready. With heartfelt condolences for your loss of Baby Anthony, I know you loved Baby Anthony so dearly, and you will miss him terribly for years to come. I also know that you gave your love to Baby Anthony so unselfishly, unconditionally, and would constantly be at his side throughout all the growing pains, and those little bumps and bruises.
